Start with the questions below — these are the ones that keep coming back. If yours is not among them, write to us.
Step by step, with screenshots: your first page, collections, files, publishing, project settings.
For developers: endpoints, authentication and response formats of the headless API.
Write to us if you cannot find an answer or something is broken. We reply on business days.
Go to panel.lesscms.io and click “Create account”. The account is shared across all LessTools systems, so the same login will later open your shop if you add one.
On the sign-in screen click “Forgot your password?” — a link to set a new one arrives by e-mail. Passwords and sign-in live in your LessTools account, not in the LessCMS panel.
In project settings, under users, enter their e-mail address. They get an invitation, and you pick their role along the way — an editor, for example, who changes content but not settings.
It depends on the plan — projects, administrators and file storage are counted for the whole workspace. Current limits are in the pricing page and in the panel, next to your subscription.
Add the domain in project settings, then point it at our address in your registrar's panel. We issue the HTTPS certificate ourselves — nothing to buy or renew. The exact DNS records are in the user guide.
We keep pages in a cache so they load fast. First reload bypassing your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R). If the old version is still there after a few minutes, write to us — we clear the cache on our side.
The panel has a redirects section — you give the source and target address and we answer with a 301. No plugin and no server access needed.
That is one site with language versions, not several separate ones. You translate the content in the panel and set the page addresses per language yourself. The guide shows how to add another language to an existing site.
A page is one specific address you lay out by hand — “About us”, say. A collection is repeating entries built the same way: case studies, blog posts, a training catalogue. You define the fields once and then just add items.
We serve images in the format the browser prefers and in the size the slot needs, so uploading the original is usually enough. If something is still heavy, write to us — we will look at that particular page.
Yes. Every project has a headless API — the same content goes into a mobile app, a shop or your own front end. The endpoints are described in the API documentation.
Tokens are shared across the workspace and do not expire at the end of the month. A top-up adds to what is left — you buy it in your LessTools account, under billing.
In your LessTools account, under billing. That is also where you change the card and the plan — system panels only show usage and limits.
Yes, at any time — up and down. We settle it in proportion to the period you have used.
We delete nothing and we do not switch your site off. You get a notice in the panel and a suggestion to move up a plan.
Turn off renewal under billing. The subscription runs until the end of the paid period and we take no further payment. You can export your content through the API beforehand.
Write to help@lesstools.cloud. We reply on business days. To speed things up, give the address of the page in question, describe what should have happened and what happens instead, and attach a screenshot if you can.
